Little Girl

This beautiful little girl and I have been spending a lot of time together. To clear that up since I am a stay at home mom and should be spending a lot of time with her anyways....I have really been giving her almost all my attention. I have been down on my hands and knees playing horses with her, seeing how many blocks she can fit into my shirt, laughing non stop together, and so much more. Although it is freezing outside and we stay in most of the time, we have been having a great time. I only have 7 1/2 weeks to go until our little Nixie is here. I remember reading one of my friends blogs a while back when she had her first child and was pregnant with her second. She said although she was counting down the days until her son was born, she couldn't believe her alone time with her little girl was almost over, just the two of them. That is where I am at now. Almost two years has gone by where it has been just Jaiden and me. The time has gone by so fast. Granted some days go by faster then others, I will cherish each moment I got to spend with just Jaiden and me. I haven't missed a thing. She has been the center of my attention and will be the ONLY child who will ever get that from Sean and I. All the others will have to take their turns. So when she is older and has more responsibilities then most, I will remind her she is the first and only child who ever got to be with just Sean and I. Other than Sean, she has been my second light and happiness at the end of the tunnel. This is it kid, you and me together. Pretty soon it will be chaotic. There will be two of you. I only have two hands. One for each of you. But know this, I have arms that can wrap around both of you and squeeze you oh so tight. Jaiden Lily, I love you for always, forever my baby you'll be. xoxo
