Grandmas Hands

Yesterday Sean and I go tot go to the temple. We haven't been in a long time since before they closed the Laie Temple for renovations. I was so nervous to go, afraid I had forgotten everything. Well, it all came back to me and I felt so great being there. Sean and I got to hold hands most of the time. It was a bit difficult moving around as my bladder was full and Nixie was jumping all around. Anyways, one of the ladies in the temple had the softest hands. I just wanted to hold them! Her soft hands made me think of my grandma Tuney's hands. She always put vasaline on her face and hands at night. I loved holding her hands and had always hoped (still do) that someday I might have hands as soft as hers. I love my grandma so much. I miss her everyday and think of her all the time. It's the little things that bring her into my mind....soft and cozy socks, her robe I wear sometimes, fancy jewelry, a few songs, Christmas time, shoes of any kind, and the list goes on and on. It was hard living far away from my grandma for a few years while she got more and more sick. I remember seeing her for the last time while we were on a visit in California. Sean told me to make sure I got a four generation picture with her. It was also the day she met Jaiden for the first time. She kept looking at her telling me how cute and chubby she was. She just stared and smiled at her. I love the four generation picture I have of her, my mom, me, and Jaiden. Although Grandma and Jaiden were both sleeping, it is a cherished memory. I love my grandma Tuney and miss her like crazy!
