As I said in an earlier post, we celebrated Jady Lady's birthday, not just one day but over a whole week. She had a blast! Two days after her official birthday we threw Jaiden a big party. Here in Hawaii it is tradition to throw a HUGE 1st birthday, so we did just that. Well, maybe not huge, but a party. Since I work for the Navy Pools, my boss let me reserve our smaller pool (great for younger kids) and a castle bounce house! I cooked Kalua Pork for the first time. Our friends let us borrow their big roaster to cook both pork shoulders. She told me how to cook it and what to add, it turned out great. Then we had rice, li hing mui pinapple, watermelon, edamame, ahi poke, cheese balls, pretzels, licorice, water, lemonade, and CAKE! When everyone was eating Sean, Jady, and I went in the bounce house! Then after, we ate, had cake, and went swimming. We were all worn out by the end that we all went home and took a nap!
Thank you for ALL those that were able to come help celebrate and those who wanted to but couldn't. We missed some great friends and LOTS of family, but enjoyed celebrating with everyone there!

I am SO proud of you and your talent at cakes! Absolutely beautiful Marie! Looks like you guys had such a blast. I REALLY wish I could have been there for the fun! Yay for future birthdays!!
