So the Benincosa side of the family has a family reunion every two years. Each time a sibling is in charge and decides when and where to have it. They decide what to do and what events will take place. This year the three sisters were in charge. They decided to have it in Huntington Beach, California. For those of you who don't know, this is where I was raised. Most of my family still lives there. This was a BIG deal because Gma B, who is 92 years old, does NOT care to travel. In fact, she pretty much hates it. Since she is 92 years old and has her bodyguard (Skeeter, her tiny dog), traveling a long time can be a drag. Well, everyone who planned on coming got here safely, including Jady and I. Sean wasn't able to come because we just moved and he started a new job, so sad. Our flight was horrible and I wanted to cry. Jaiden cried for about to hours and I stood up holding her for about three. She was so sleepy but couldn't go to sleep because there was no place for her to lie down except for on me. Once she finally got to sleep it was fine. It was a horribly small plane and packed.
Anyways, it was a good time. It wasn't as organized as I had hoped and there weren't as much family as I would have liked to see, but I got to see and visit those who came and it was fabulous!
Here are some lovely pictures of our week. Oh, and my favorite part was that my grandma stayed at my parents and so did we. So we got to see her everyday, and I LOVED it!!!
