Maryland here we come!!!

So it has been a pretty stressful week here in the Bruderer home. Actually, it has been stressful for the past few months through work and school. That is another talk show! FINALLY on friday, Sean got orders to Fort Meade, Maryland. He got orders there last year, but they were cancelled two days later. We are now to report May 31st. We are so excited to live in all FOUR seasons. I have NEVER lived in all four seasons before. I hope we get a fireplace in our new home because it would be so perfect for winter mixed with hot chocolate. I look forward to seeing the leaves change, the snow fall, and so many other things. However, I am super scared!
I have never had to make friends until I moved here. I think I have said it before. It sounds weird but I pretty much grew up with the same people since I was 3 and in kindergarden. When I moved here everything was new to me. I only knew Sean and that was it. It was great to start making friends at church and at work, but I still felt out of place. It was still difficult for me. It was hard to move here pretty much on my own and leave everything I have ever known. But now that I look back on the life I built here, I think it will be even more difficult to leave Hawaii. It will be more difficult because it was here Sean and I started our life together. It was here where Jaiden was born. It was here where I went to school and graduated. It was here I made friends on my own. I do have to say, I didn't make friends on my own, they made friends with me more so because I'm not so good at it. It is here I will forever hold in my heart because of each and every memory. It has been wonderful! I have loved every minute of being here in Hawaii, all five years of it.
With a few more weeks left we will mostly be packing. After all that is taken care of I hope to play a little before we leave. we hope to come back every few years to see the friends we will miss so much and do the things we will long for while gone. I love Hawaii to pieces and hope to create fantastic memories in Maryland. I love friends I have made and the friends that have become family. We will miss you more than words can say.

Tiffany! I beg to differ on the making friends thing ... I mean, didn't I just meet you and only see you like three times??
Anyway, I'm excited you are going to that area! It is beautiful. I lived in Columbia, about 15 minutes from Ft. Meade for a year and then to Falls Church, VA for 2 years. Tell me where you end up living. I am actually looking at going back to MD/VA/DC area possibly in about 4 months!!! So I need to know where you are! And you will love it and make great friends, I'm quite sure!
