Finally!

This is Sean, Jaiden, and my first weekend alone as a family without visitors. Now, we really did enjoy our visitors, however, it's about time reality hit. This was my first week all alone with Jaiden with no family and Sean at work. We survived! There were some tough moments, but we worked through them together. I tried all sorts of things I laugh at now to keep her from crying. I sing a lot to her. In fact, I realy should learn some new songs, or at least learn all the words to all the songs I only can sing half of before I have to just start humming. It was a great week! We went on walks every day this week so far and in about two weeks I get to start running. I can't stand running for the life of me, however, it is a great exercise so I will make myself love it! I plan on getting back down to pre-baby wieght within 6 months and ten pounds less then that within a year. If that doesn't happen how I want it to, I will at least be working out everyday and feeling good. That is the main point. I have already lost 25 pounds! Of coarse most of that was baby and goo.
Anyways, now that I am just rambling, I will finish my post. Today Sean has a work day o fun! We are going to Bellows (beach) to watch him compete in some squadron sports, eat lunch, and mostly show off Jaiden. Then we have to whole weekend to ourselfs! Before and after my finals tomorrow, the day is ours! xoxo

Oh man, Bellows?!?! I'm jealous! And good luck with the running.... you'll love it! It's great. I'm sure you'll reach your goal of losing weight. It helps to announce it to the world, so that when you reach for that cookie or slice of pizza, you'll get a gentle (or not so gentle)reminder of your goal. I'm still working on my weight. I was hoping to be back to pre-pregnancy weight by 6 months, but I may have to push that goal back a little bit. The weight is being a little more stubborn this time!

My favorite way to get back into shape was the baby stroller relay at the track. You go with someone else and the person with the stroller walks while the other person runs and tries to catch back up to them. A good time to go is in the evening about 6:30 because it isn't hot. If you want a running buddy, I'm game. Just let me know when.
